I came to Vancouver in 1994 from Beijing, China, after graduating from Nankai University with an BA in commerce. I was looking to make a new life in this great land of opportunity, Canada. It was a new language, a new culture, a whole new way of life. It was a very exciting time for me.
However, there was an economic recession in Canada and I needed a job. I got an interview with a small company and managed to emerge the winner of an office administration position, beating out 40 other applicants in the process, as I learned later, for my superb organizational skills and exceptional work ethic.
My new job was with a real estate company, Bel-Air Realty. I knew absolutely nothing about real estate at the time. As I learned more about the real estate industry, I discovered that my true interests were in helping people improve their quality of life by helping them achieve their real estate objectives. With the growth of the company and encouragement of my mentor I became a realtor in 2000.
There are many intricacies and nuances in this ever-changing industry. Since that time I have felt very honoured to be able to apply my real estate knowledge, my organizational skills and my work ethic, when acting on behalf of all my valued clients.
From start to finish I take pride in providing superlative real estate service that they can count on.
The recognition and appreciation for a job well done is all that really matters.
My greatest job satisfaction comes from exceeding my client’s expectations. It makes my career choice meaningful and worthwhile.
